As early as the tortoise shell inscriptions various types of growths and tumors were known and catagorised in terms of thheir severity and the possibility of successfully treating them.

Cancer as we define it today was not recognised as a general disease category, but the various pathological influences respondsible for causing malignant and benign tumors, their debilitating effect on the patient and their treatment strategies were know and widely practiced

The goal of  this weekend is to help the participants gain a better understanding of the pathological mechanisms, therapeutic principles and treatment strategies involved in the accompanying and treatment of cancer.
